Nico Zingg was an intern at Nordic Inertial during the summer of 2023. This Swiss young Curious Mind talks about his experience – what’s it like working for Nordic Inertial as a foreign intern?

My internship at Nordic Inertial was a truly enriching experience that left a lasting impact. The work I was entrusted with was not only varied but also incredibly instructive, providing me with a comprehensive understanding of the tools I worked with.

The team at Nordic Inertial exceeded all expectations, with a genuine willingness to support one another. Collaborating with them was a learning experience as well since I've never worked for a company with such a great environment.

As a foreigner, I initially had concerns about communication barriers, but those fears quickly dissipated. I was pleasantly surprised to find that everyone at Nordic Inertial spoke fluent English. This made it easy for me to work with everyone.

Beyond the professional aspects, the company culture at Nordic Inertial fostered a sense of inclusivity and belonging. Whether it was eating together during lunch breaks or participating in team-building activities, I always felt like an integrated member of the team.

Reflecting on my time at Nordic Inertial, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities I was afforded, the lessons I learned and the memories I made.

In conclusion, my internship at Nordic Inertial was an incredibly rewarding journey characterized by meaningful work, supportive colleagues, and a welcoming environment that made it feel like a second Finnish home.
